NOTE ABOUT THE ORIGINAL: The original has sold but you can still purchase prints and other goodies.
Yes, Yes, Yes I love breathing new life into these antique dictionary pages. Here is another example of floral work done on these old pages. If you have looked at the other vintage inspiration pieces you will already know that this book is dated from 1867.
This particular piece doesn’t have an extensive back story but it still one of my favorites. Simple roses on antique paper. I just wanted to add some life to it and flowers are one of my favorite way of doing just that.
The frame for all of these vintage piece is the same. Simple wood with the artwork held in place between two panes of glass. I chose this exact frame because I wanted the frayed and weakened edges of the paper to be clearly visible.
This piece is ready to be hung up immediately by a small notch on the back. It should be placed out of direct sunlight because the sunlight will cause it to fade and ruin.
**NOTE: I've edited the images to be as close to the original color of the piece as possible. Your monitor/screen may affect how the image looks (but with today's technology I wouldn't worry about it too much).
**If you receive your original art and are unhappy, have a change of heart, or the piece is damaged then you may return it within 45 days of purchase for a full refund. I will send you a prepaid box to return the item and upon the successful return of the item your payment will be refunded. Anything outside of the initial 45-days will only be eligible for credit towards another piece or custom original piece.
